The first sentence of a good story is always the most difficult…
**So I was taking nekkid pictures of my daughter to post on the internet… um, no that doesn’t sound right.
**So my daughter was taking a bath, and I grabbed the camera… no.
**Just after sprinkling fresh rose petals over my bathing daughter…
Shit, there really is no good way to tell you about about my daughters HNT.
After taking my daughters HNT photo (her idea, not mine), I reached over to move the candle so she wouldn’t get hurt getting out of the tub; remember, I DIDN’T want her to get hurt.
What you cannot see in the picture is one more candle and a glass vase sitting on a glass shelf directly above her head.
Well… I ACCIDENTLY dribbled hot wax across her while moving the 1st candle. Apologizing and putting the candle back on the shelf, the shelf SOMEHOW fell (jumped really) from the wall and crashed down on her head. (Stop laughing… it’s not funny *snerk*).
These are the resulting injuries and a bonus HNT!
Just before the “incident”, all is happy and good…
Hot wax still in her hair, coating the lump on her head…
Cut on the back of her neck, right next to the tattoo…
Multiple scraps from the glass shelf across her shoulder, I’m sure some are bruises by today (Of course I’ll try to get pictures of any bruising!)
And I don’t care what she posts on her blog, IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!
As you know, if I blogged it first, my story MUST be how it really happened!

Gravatar It really wasn’t that bad, but it was pretty damn funny (she did have a headache till she went to bed though)… There was broken glass mixed in with the bubbles and rose pedals when we drained the tub… Poor girl was trying to maintain some modesty while I’m trying to make sure she doesn’t lose a toe getting out of the tub, somethings just can’t be captured on film…

On a bit more of a serious note, I have a question I GOTTA ask you. Now if you recall about a month ago I asked you if it was cool to bug ya and you said yes =P
My soon to be ex hubby does piercings here and there and has gotten better at it thru trial an error. He buys sterilized needles and jewelrey and has the main equpment. Of course we dont have a fancy sterilization machine but the clamps get boiled and then soaked in alcohol and left to dry in the air so I think were fairly safe about it. He has done numerous piercings including eyebrows, ears, PA’s, scrotum, nipple, etc. These were all successful and without incident. Well about a week ago I got a bug in my butt to get my belly button pierced. As any piercer/ ink lover knows, this urge doesnt go away until you just go out and do it. I have seen little girls in malls get their belly buttons pierced and not even flinch. I saw my sisters friend (who cries over hang nails) not even bat an eye. Well I laid down and swabbed down my bellybutton with alcohol. My guy put on the forceps which always seem to hurt (in my opinion) more than the piercing itself cuz theyre pinchy damn things. He put on his gloves and removed the needle from its package and put the jewelry in it. When the needle first went in, I didnt even feel it. He said almost through and then I felt a pain like I had never felt in my life. He said, hold on, I dont know why but it just wont come through, and then pushed like heck. About a minute after putting all of his strength into pushing on that needle he still didnt make it through to the other side. By this time I had tears running down my face, a belly full of blood, and still no piercing. I told him to just stop. I dont know what went wrong. It bled for a good half hour like crazy and within the next 2 hours I had a huge lump above my belly button and a half dollar size bruise to go with it. I looked up self belly button piercing on the net but only found stories of little girls with saftey pins that didnt go deep enough only to have it rip out in a week or two. Sorry for bugging you with this but any insight you have would be helpful. I still want my belly pierced but dont want to go thru that drama again =P

Gravatar Hey thanks for the quick answer. I dont know why I didnt think of it before, but I think your vein theory is right. Whenever I give blood or get an IV, half the nurses comment on how “tough” my veins are. I have had quite a few of them get “blown” while nurses inadvertently slip and hit the sides of them while trying to get thru . Well at least next time I have the old mark so he can move it over a bit =P Thankies!!!!

This was the biggest comedy of errors we’ve had around here in a long time… I like the idea of COPS… WHEN HNT GOES BAD!
Childrens services hasn’t stopped by yet, but I have a copy of her birth certificate handy just in case (she’s 20, so I’m safe), actually, I could only hope for someone to come take her away… (kidding, she is an awesome daughter and I love it that she’s around alot)!
As for all of the compliments… that is completely my Mothers fault… I inherited her lovely gene’s, people think she and I are sisters! (Thanks Mom!)
